The last Friday of the school year!

Only 4 days of school next week! Can you tell I'm excited?

The last Friday lunch is coming from The Cheesecake Factory. We all ordered lunch and cheesecake. The best part is that we all ordered different kinds of cheesecake so that we could share. I'm getting the Snickers Bar Chunk Cheesecake and I'm trying to figure out how to keep it all to myself while still getting a taste of what everyone else ordered. LOL!

We had a cute presentation today by the Kids Planet Club from the Trump International Beach Resort. I got some cute pictures to share with you later.

The teachers also have the opportunity to save about 50% on a room at the hotel until the end of September so that we can take a little "Stay-cation". That's pretty cool and the hotel is super nice so I just might have to allow myself the luxury before the summer is over.

Quick post tonight

I'm just making a quick post tonight because I'm pretty tired. Today was a really busy day and there was lots more rain. Why is it that the short weeks always seem to tire me out more than the regular ones? Of course, I guess I shouldn't complain since I only have to work 6 more days this school year and 2 of those are half days.

Rain and more rain

We didn't get to go to the playground today because it started raining right at recess time. Then it stopped and the sun came out until it was time for me to come home and it started raining again.

It rained pretty hard too. There were people in Miami that had their power knocked out and some of the local roads flooded. One advantage of living on the beach is that we don't lose our power as often as they do in Miami and when we do lose it, it tends to come back on pretty quickly.

Flowerscraps has a new kit coming out called Night Out that is just awesome. Here's a preview for you...

I made two layouts with the kit and plan to do more. Here are my LOs...

You can get the kit at One Single Seed or at Stuff to Scrap.

Back to work

I woke up early this morning to the sound of thunder. Fell back asleep and woke up again when the phone rang. Sleeping late today just wasn't in the cards for me.

We had a nice cookout in between rain storms and stopped at 3 PM for a moment of silence in honor of all veterans. It was a wonderful day!

I took some time to play with April's Baby Boy Kit and here's the LO I made...

This really is a super kit and she's got one for baby girls too!

Sorry, I had to put it on 4shared. Mediafire wasn't playing nicely.

I'm going to bed now. Enjoy your day!

Happy Memorial Day!

We had another cloudy and rainy day so I spent almost an hour on the wii fit which is probably a good thing since I had key lime pie for breakfast. LOL!

We're having a big Memorial Day cookout/party where I live. I hope the sun shines long enough for it to be fun. Or at least long enough for me to get some free food. LOL!

I love long weekends!

We had rain today, but not as much as yesterday. I spent the morning hitting up some of the weekend sales before the clouds moved in during the afternoon. I took advantage of the cloud cover and napped. LOL!

I scrapped another picture from my London trip. This is a piece of the Berlin Wall that stands in front of the Imperial War Museum. The graphics are from April's Blushing Buttercups kit.

Here's a preview of the beautiful kit. It's available in April's store at Scrap it Sassy...

While you're checking out this kit, you should also look these other cute kits that April has just added to her store.

You should also visit April's blog to pick up this adorable QP she made using her Baby Girl Kit. It's free!

Carol's Rainbow Connection kit is so much fun to work with! Here's another layout I made today...

This kit has endless possibilities and I just love it!

While working on the end of year video I came across lots of pictures that I forgot I had even taken! I'm having fun catching up and scraping them all. Here's one I made using Shel Belle's Memorial Day Kit. The picture is of my Assistant Principal as she made her vote during our election day back in November. I have no idea if she voted for pizza or ice cream, but I know I voted for ice cream. LOL!

You can get the mini Memorial Day kit on Shel's blog along with some beautiful quick and brag book pages. Make sure you check them out!

Rain, rain, go away!

Man, did we ever have a rainy day! I'm really hoping it clears up and we have a beautiful weekend like the weatherman promised we would. But then again, I will probably get a lot more done if it does rain all weekend. LOL!

I showed the finished movie I made to the other teachers and got their seal of approval. We also wanted the kids to see it and of course they think they're movie stars now. I thought it was cute the first time I watched it through and was proud of the job I did, but after viewing it for what seems like a gazillion times it's not so cute to me anymore. LOL!

I've been lucky enough to join another CT! On top of the wonderful graphics I get to work with for April, Deanna, and Shel, I also get to work with Carol Marion's graphics. I must be the luckiest girl in the world!

I've been using Carol's Rainbow Connection kit to play with Chrissy's prom pictures. Chrissy is my friend's daughter and she is a nice as she is beautiful. She graduates from high school this year and has decided to go to the University of South Florida in Tampa. She also got accepted at the University of Miami and the University of Hawaii. She decided that Hawaii was too far away and that UM was a no go because her sister goes there. LOL! Anyway, here's one of the LOs I made...

Here's a preview of the kit...

Carol sells her kits at Moo Two Designs and Desired Designs ~n~ Scraps.

I've also been using parts of her Aloha Kit for some of my end of year projects since we decided to go with a luau theme. The kit is awesome and Carol gave away some add-on freebies to it on her blog. Here's the preview...

I've got another share for you today from the I Hope You Dance song...
