Here's another wordart made with one of Shel's papers.

I'm going to bed early tonight because I've got a headache. YUCK! I really hope it's gone tomorrow for the 4th of July cookout. I also hope the rain stays away!

Stay safe and enjoy your day!

Happy Weekend!

I used a background paper from Shel Belle Scraps Memorial Day Mini Kit to make this wordart. I used it for the one you're getting tomorrow too. If you missed the kit Shel still has it up on her blog so you can pick it up there.

My big adventure for the day was buying a new shower curtain. I just don't know if I can handle the excitement that is my life. LOL! Actually, I'm enjoying these lazy days way more than I should. Soon enough school will start up again and bring back all the drama.

Speaking of school, rumor has it that they've painted our classrooms as promised. (It only took 4 years!) Apparently, we now have classrooms that are bright yellow. Should be interesting.

Deanna has been very sneaky this week. She put together a wonderful kit for the 4th called Star Spangled Banner and managed to keep it a secret. Well, she kept it a secret until now. LOL! Just look at the preview...

You'll be able to pick up the kit in three parts over the next three days on her blog then it goes into her store.

Don't forget to check out the awesome sale at April's store!

I'm going to get some sleep now. Enjoy your day!

Name that Munchkin

I sent my friend, Lisa, a text and told her I was talking about her. LOL! She said that they lived next door to the guy who played the Mayor of Munchkin Land. How could I have forgotten that?

April is having an awesome sale at Scrap it Sassy! Make sure you check it out! You should also visit April's blog to pick up this adorable QP...

This is the third QP April has made using her Positively Paisley Kit and given away. If you missed the first two look for them on her blog and you can pick the whole kit up for only $3.00 in her store.

I TIVOed The Philanthropist so I'm going to watch it now then get some sleep. Enjoy your day!

I've fallen in love!

I've fallen in love with a kit by Scraps of Ellay! It's called Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and is just amazing. Check out this preview...

I have a friend that grew up living next to one of the guys that played a munchkin in the movie. I can't remember which one he was now, but as soon as I see her I'll ask again. She said that his wife did chewing gum commercials. Her parents have one of the outfits he wore in the movie. It's matted and framed and I wish it were mine. LOL!

Right now this kit is on sell at Stuff to Scrap for 30% off. That means you get 20 papers, 64 elements and an alphabet in four different colors for only $2.79!

Those Summer Nights Blog Train

What a day! I ventured out between rain storms to run some errands. I under estimated the depth of a certain puddle at the post office and had to run the rest of my errands with one soaking wet flip flop and one wet pants leg. I think I'm starting a new fashion trend. LOL!

If you check out April's store at Scrap it Sassy this month you'll save lots of money! Everything is 50% off! How cool is that?

I look forward to the beginning of each month because it brings another blog train from the girls at Stuff to Scrap. This month's blog train is called Those Summer Nights and it is just awesome! You are going to get so many wonderful graphics and papers today and they are all free!

I've got previews of the kits that Deanna and Shel made to share with you. Here's what you'll get when you visit Deanna's blog...

And this is what you'll get when you visit Shel's blog...

Aren't these just awesome?!?! There are many more blogs to visit today so get busy! LOL!

I did have a little time to play around with Shel's part and this is the layout I made...

I'm going to get some sleep now. Enjoy your day!

Celebrate

I was able to get up and make my haircut appointment today. Thank goodness! I have to make sure I don't miss the next one cause I don't like morning appointments. LOL!

We had more rain today. Guess what we're going to have tomorrow? That's right----RAIN.

I got back on the wii tight rope thingy today, but I didn't make it across. Figures, I wouldn't be able to do it two days in a row. LOL! The good news is that I completed all eight levels on the advanced table balance. So, I guess it was a successful day. LOL!

Take a look at this kit called Celebrate by Eva Marina Scraps...

It's a great kit and it's out just in time for the Fourth of July! There are even elements that can be used for Canada Day. The best part about this kit is that it's on sale for only $2.79! Head on over to the store at Stuff to Scrap and pick it up.

Enjoy your day!

I actually made it across the expert level on the tight rope thingy today! I am still excited about it. I also tried the advanced level on the table balance for the first time today. I made it to level six. I'm not so excited about that, but I must admit it's better than I did the very first time I tried the beginning level. LOL!

This evening I was in desperate need of some aspirin, Tylenol, Advil or anything really and I had nothing. I paid my neighbor a visit and she didn't have any either. However, she did have some tequila! After we split a pitcher of margaritas I didn't have a headache anymore. Or maybe I did and just didn't care anymore. LOL!

I'm going to bed now, because I have to get up in the morning and remember to get my hair cut since I missed Friday's appointment. Wish me luck and enjoy your day!
