Did you have a great 4th of July? I did! The rain stayed away long enough for us to have a great party/cookout. I ate way too much and then came in and took a nap. LOL! The fireworks this evening were awesome too. I just can't tell you how much I love living where all I have to do is walk outside and look up to see fireworks displays from several locations in Miami. All the beauty without the hassle of the traffic! LOL!

I'm not going to be around for the next couple of days so I've preposted some wordart for you. Apparently, some people are having trouble with their prepublished posts not posting so I hope it works. If not, I'll get them all posted for you by the end of the week.

I used a background paper from Shel Belle Scraps Memorial Day Mini Kit to make this wordart. I used it for the one you're getting tomorrow too. If you missed the kit Shel still has it up on her blog so you can pick it up there.

My big adventure for the day was buying a new shower curtain. I just don't know if I can handle the excitement that is my life. LOL! Actually, I'm enjoying these lazy days way more than I should. Soon enough school will start up again and bring back all the drama.

Speaking of school, rumor has it that they've painted our classrooms as promised. (It only took 4 years!) Apparently, we now have classrooms that are bright yellow. Should be interesting.

Deanna has been very sneaky this week. She put together a wonderful kit for the 4th called Star Spangled Banner and managed to keep it a secret. Well, she kept it a secret until now. LOL! Just look at the preview...

I have a friend that grew up living next to one of the guys that played a munchkin in the movie. I can't remember which one he was now, but as soon as I see her I'll ask again. She said that his wife did chewing gum commercials. Her parents have one of the outfits he wore in the movie. It's matted and framed and I wish it were mine. LOL!

What a day! I ventured out between rain storms to run some errands. I under estimated the depth of a certain puddle at the post office and had to run the rest of my errands with one soaking wet flip flop and one wet pants leg. I think I'm starting a new fashion trend. LOL!
