I can't believe I did it!

Download wordart here

There are a couple of things I did today that I can't believe. First off, I can't believe I set the alarm clock to go off on a Saturday. LOL! I had errands to run and I wanted to get them done before the NSD fun started in the forums. Of course, I just turned the alarm off and went back to sleep. LOL!

I got my errands run and spent lots of time online today. Didn't get anything done around the house, but who cares! We had so much fun on the Stuff to Scrap Forum today. I took part in my very first speed scrap, played bingo and spent way too much time in the chat room. The result of my first speed scrap are in the post below this one and it's not very pretty. LOL! But the hotties from the SWAT team are pretty!

The second thing I can't believe I did was talk to the guy I was waiting in line behind at Walgreens. The guy I was behind was Mark Consuelos! Do you know who I'm talking about? He played Mateo on All My Children and is married to Kelly Ripa.

My Walgreens always has a line at the pharmacy and they never have enough people working! Today was the first time I didn't mind. LOL! There was one customer being waited on and two more waiting. I got into line behind the cute guy thinking he looked familiar. Once I realized who he was I decided that I just had to talk to him. So, I leaned up and asked him if he had been waiting long. I am such a dork! He said that he hadn't but that he felt like it probably was going to be a long wait. I told him that wasn't good news, but in my head I was thinking, "I'm enjoying the view so I don't mind!" LOL! I told you I was a dork!

Well, the line moved and someone else came to help at the register so it was his turn and he was at the register farthest from where the line started. I turned to the girl waiting behind me and told her who I thought he was and we were both staring at him and smiling from ear to ear when he looked around and caught us. LOL! They asked him his last name and he confirmed that I was right when he said "Consuelos"

Apparently he has a sick child. Poor baby! He was told that he had a 30 minute wait for the medicine. When I left he was standing in the parking lot talking to his taxi driver. By the way, I'm 5'4" and he's not really that much taller than I am, but he does smell good. LOL!

I haven't attempted Tammy's tutorial at Aimee Asher on making a background paper yet. But, I have seen some that others have made and they are looking good. Maybe I'll fit that in tomorrow.

April is letting me share a coupon to her store at Scrap it Sassy with you. It's good for the whole month of May! Spend at least $10 in her store and you save $3.00. That's a pretty good deal, but they have a sale going on now so it gets even better! Make sure you get the code off the coupon.

By the way, the wine tasting was lots of fun the other night. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me!

I'm heading off to bed now. Enjoy your day!

I have no shame!

I just finished my first speed scrap at the Stuff to Scrap Forum and it was so much fun! My LO leaves alot to be desired but that's part of what made it so fun. LOL!

I just had to use the pictures of the hot SWAT Team guys that were at school Friday for Truck day! Look at them! Can you blame me!

I figured Flowerscraps Snakes and Snails Kit would work for these manly men. I even thought I was going to be able to pull off an OK layout until the directions came to use at least one flower and a doodle. LOL! I used the cherry blossoms and the beaded wire from Flowerscraps portion of the Chocolate Cherry Blog Train that went around in February.

I wonder if Deanna will ever talk to me again! LOL!

Anyway here's my wonderful layout for everyone to see...

You really should join in on the fun at Stuff to Scrap today if you can. There will be another speed scrap later today that Deanna is hosting and there are lots of other things going on too.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Here's another request from my buddy Dianna. Hope you can use it...

Friday was truck/career day and it was lots of fun! It was smaller than it has been in past years because several business' said they just couldn't participate. This years favorite---the hot guys from the SWAT Team. LOL! I've got pictures but haven't done anything with them yet.

Florida has it's first confirmed cases of the swine flu. One is on the other coast in Lee County (Be careful Dianna!) and the other is in Broward County which is just north of us. I don't want anyone to get sick but it sure would be nice to get school closed for a couple of days. I know, I know, I'm being bad! LOL!

I'm going to bed now so that I can get up get my errands run and then join the online fun for National Scrapbooking Day. Hopefully, I'll see you on the forums. Enjoy your day!

Don't forget to come by the Stuff to Scrap Forum on Saturday to check out the fun and try to win some prizes!

If you use Photoshop and are design challenged like I am, Tammy DeYoung is going to being giving a tutorial on how to make a background paper at Aimee Asher Saturday morning at 8 AM Central Time.

I'm going to an evening of wine tasting and h'orderves until 9:00 PM Friday night. So, here's hoping I get up in time to join some of the early fun at the forums. LOL! I've also got some things I need to take care of during the day on Saturday, but I will be spending as much time as I can celebrating National Scrapbooking Day online!

I've got an extra wordart freebie for you today that was requested by Dianna of Digicats. She's working on a Mother's Day Kit and I just can't wait to see it! Hope you can use this too...

You know you're lazy when...

Download Wordart Here

You know you're lazy when you order dinner from the deli in the same building you live in and still have them deliver. LOL! I couldn't help it, I just didn't feel like walking down there. I made up for it by working out a little longer on the wii fit.

I'm excited about it being the end of April. We're that much closer to summer vacation!

Friday is Truck Day at school. They get area business' to bring out the big trucks they use and the drivers tell the kids all about the truck and how it helps them do their jobs. This year they've had a hard time getting companies to volunteer for this program because of the economy. It will still be a fun day for the kids though!
Their favorite part is when the drivers blow the horns on the trucks. So, even if we only have one truck the kids will love it as long as he blows the horn. LOL!

We're getting closer to Saturday and all the fun at the Stuff to Scrap Forum! Don't forget to come by and join in on the fun!

I'm off to bed now. Enjoy your day!

I'm such a dork!

We're working hard to plan our end of the year party for the kids and their parents. I'm hooked on the Luau theme. After school today one of the girls was going to the dollar store to pick things up for us and I was going to Party City. Well, I got in the car and it automatically drove me straight home. LOL! Really! It's not my fault!

I waited until most of the rush hour traffic had died down and went back out. Party City is getting ready for summer and they were putting out lots of cute luau themed items. I spent too much money and if you add that to the Oriental Trading order I made last week I've spent way too much money. LOL! Sadly, I'm sure more will be spent before it's all over. And to think, Dade County thought we didn't need our raises...

Did you visit Digicats yesterday or today? Dianna has her Chocolicious Kit up and it looks yummy! Check out this preview...

Do you see the very cute blonde girl in the left hand corner? Her name is Ginger. Isn't that just a wonderful name? LOL!

I've got to get some sleep. I've been staying up way too late lately. Enjoy your day!

Two freebies today!

Download Wordart Here

So, last night I TIVOed Desperate Housewives and watched it when I got home today. The Susan character is a woman after my own heart---she can't cook either. There was a scene where she was mopping her ceiling and explained that it needed to be done because she had cooked. LOL! She then proceeded to say...

I thought that was classic! Although I can't blame my omelet mishap on the stove, I can save this excuse for another day. LOL! You can too...just download the wordart here.

Is anyone having trouble uploading to Mediafire? For several days now I haven't been able to add anything new. What a pain!

I'm off to bed now. Enjoy your day!
