OK, so the fitbit bracelet is really cool!

It tracks everything!  I know how many steps I've taken today, how many calories I've burned, how many minutes I was active and how many I wasn't.

I also know how much sleep I got last night.  How long it took me to fall asleep after I got into bed, when I woke up and when I was restless.

However, I'm still NOT setting an alarm to go off in the mornings so I can walk with my friends.  lol!

So, a couple of my friends have decided to head down to the beach every morning and walk along the boardwalk for exercise and gossip time. They try to get me to join them, but I usually wake up long after they're back and greet them with...

"Hey, did you guys go walking yet?  Oh, you did.  Bummer!  Well, do you want to go get some lunch or ice cream or a margarita or, you know,  maybe all three?"

They think I'm just making fun of them and maybe I am, but I still want lunch and ice cream and a margarita!

One of those weirdo friends of mine decided to buy all of us one of those fitbit bracelets.  She thought it would motivate everyone with a little friendly competition.  I told her it was a thoughtful gift, but that since I usually miss their morning walks I felt guilty accepting it and would like to repay her the money she spent.

She laughed and said,   "You know, Ginger, you could just do what we do and set your alarm clock to go off each morning."

My response? -----

"You people are freaks!"

Anyway, she refused to take back the "gift" and to take the money I offered, so I'm stuck wearing this thing until she moves on to another hobby.  So far the most exercise I've gotten is trying to get the stupid thing on.  It wasn't as easy as the directions said it would be!

Today I took lots of deep breaths.   Mostly they were in the form of yawns between my naps.  lol!

I spent today doing what most people do after returning home from a trip.....laundry!   lol!

I did receive a pretty interesting email from a blog viewer asking about the differences in the word art quotes I give away daily. You know... some are motivational, some are inspirational, some are funny and apparently some are bad.  VERY, VERY BAD. lol!

Well, I can't explain myself.  There's no explanation.  No rhyme or reason as to why I post the quotes I post.

Some I like.  Some I think that you may like.  Some fit the mood I'm in or what I'm going through at the time.  Some are just funny.  Some are the result of a request I received.  Some are made for a specific project I'm working on. 

ALL of them are free!

No one is required to take anything, but the quotes are here if you would like to.  And, if you take something, you don't have to take everything.  Take what you like and ignore the rest.

It's that simple.....no explanation required from you or from me.

Orange Croc Guy and I tried to get away for a few days, but we spent most of the time in the hotel room sick.  He came down with some kind of 24 hour bug and at just about the time he was getting over it.....I got it.

Every time we try to travel together something goes wrong!

  I suggested that I leave first for our next trip alone and he catch up with me a few days later.  His response.....

"You mean we have to do this again?"

Yep, he just loves spending time with me! Lol!
