No more boiling water for me!

So, the other night I set off the smoke alarm. I was literally trying to boil water!
My microwave took a hit during the move and I've been so busy I haven't had time to pick up a new one. I needed some boiling water to make some Theraflu.
Apparently, feeling so bad that you forgot about putting a pot of water on the stove and then proceed to forget about it isn't a good thing.
So, it's offical!
I CAN'T EVEN BOIL WATER CORRECTLY!
Strangely, I'm ok with it and I'm also not surprised.....not one little bit!

Postcards are arriving!!!!!

The postcards are starting to arrive and my class couldn't be more excited! I really wish I could bottle up their excitement and sell it. We would all be rich!!!!!
Here's what we've gotten so far:
1 card from Jean on Arizona (No stamp was needed. LOL!)

By the way, Jean and Teresa, my students say that you both color like the "big kids". Trust me, that's a HUGE compliment!

Kat, I seriously want to visit your house! Of course, my students have no understanding of what it means to live in a house that was built over 150 years ago. I explained it by saying, "It's really old! Like, older than the principal!" That got their attention! LOL!

8 years!!!!!

This month marks my 8 year blog-o-versary! I am amazed that I'm I'm still here and shocked that you guys are too!
