I should have checked in earlier to let you guys know that we made it back from our girl's weekend. I was busy doing laundry and watching things that recorded on the DVR while I was gone. LOL!
We had lots of fun, but didn't get to do the things we wanted to do the most because of the rain. There was a state of emergency declared in North Carolina and so the Autumn at Oz event was cancelled and so was the Ghost Train at Tweetsie Railroad. So......
We shopped, we ate, we drank, we slept in and ran out between torrential rain storms and tried to see some of the fall leaves.
You know, you can't let the weather get you down when you're on vacation, because no matter how bad it is.....you're still on vacation! LOL!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're vacation was so rainy (I know 'cause I live here - it was an awful 2 weeks), but you didn't let it spoil your fun! Maybe next year will be better!
