I had a wonderful day of doing nothing today and it was great! After being away from home for Christmas it was great to just be here. Now tomorrow, I have to go out and run some errands then I'm meeting my friends for lunch. YUMMY! I can't believe my two week vacation is almost over! I have to enjoy what's left of it.

I made it home safe and sound and am so glad to be back in Miami! There really is no place like home! Especially when it's winter and it's cold and snowy everywhere else. LOL!

Thanks for all the nice comments and emails while I was away. I really owe a great big thank you to Rose who found the mistake on the wordart I gave out the other day. I feel really bad about that and hope I haven't messed up any of your layouts. That's what I get for trying to do so much the week before Christmas. I'm just glad there was only one mistake! LOL! I'm on Christmas Vacation!

You wouldn't believe the amount of rain we've had the past two days! On Thursday night there was even a mall that had employees spend the night because there was so much flooding they couldn't get out. Now, while I have always thought being stuck in a mall over night would be a wonderful thing, I doubt those people had too much fun.

The neighborhood my school is in had over 11 inches of rain on thursday and then there was another 4 inches today. YUCK! There are flooded streets and homes everywhere.

I just hope I can get to the airport in the morning! I'm on vacation and ready to leave on a jet plane! LOL!

The puppet show this morning was awesome! Here's how overworked I am right now. I took the camera because they will usually pose for a quick picture or two with the kids. I was all set to take some great shots to share with you. That's when I realized that I didn't have the memory disk in the camera and the internal memory was full with pictures that I couldn't delete because they are from my friends Christmas party and I need to scrap them as a present for her family. So, I have no pictures on my camera to share. BUMMER! The show was great though and we had lots of fun!

I am now one day closer to vacation! YIPPEE! Keep an eye on April's blog because she is going to be posting some adorable candy bar wrappers that she made with her Christmas kit and you will love them!

One of my high school volunteers swears that my southern accent makes me sound like Paula Dean when I talk. I don't see --- or should I say "hear" it. LOL! Anyway, I had some treats that my mom made and I took them to school to share. After she tasted the first snack she said, "See, I know that's your mom on TV. She's a good cook!" We've all gotten a good laugh out of that one, because trust me, I don't have Paula Dean's cooking ability or money. LOL!
