Did you check out the Please Don't Jump Group on Facebook? The last time I looked there were almost 28,000 members and on the Together For Life Page about 150 people have said they plan on going to the Golden Gate Bridge on Sunday.
Isn't amazing that one person who is feeling so hopeless and alone has managed to bring so many hearts together? It really puts what I think of as my "bad days" into perspective.
We can't all be in San Francisco on Sunday, but we can all reach out to someone. We can all make a difference in someone's life.
What will you do to make someone's world a better place? It doesn't have to be something big. It could be a phone call, a letter, an email. It could be a smile across a crowded room. It could simply be taking the time to say, "good morning" Maybe you could visit someone who is homebound or in a hospital. Maybe you could look up someone you've lost touch with and let them know you're thinking of them. Maybe you could tell someone you're "sorry".
What you do is completely up to you. Just do something!
