I tried not to be boring today

I tried not to be boring today, but I'm not sure I succeeded. LOL! It was hard to sleep last night because a bad lightning storm came through and I hate lightning storms. I couldn't really hear the thunder because the storm windows pretty much block the sound, but even with the blinds closed and curtains the room was lighting up from the lightning. I know---I'm a baby!

When I got on the wii fit today I finally changed the Super Hula Hoop from 6 minutes to 10. I hate the super Hula Hoop so that's a big deal. I even earned 4 stars! YEA!

I managed to bake some cookies today without setting off any smoke alarms. OK, so they were the Nestles that you only have to break apart and bake, but I still did it all by myself!

I walked to the post office and mailed a package. Then I came home and rested up from all the exciting things I did today. LOL!

I'll probably still be resting tomorrow too. LOL! Now I'm going to get some sleep. Enjoy your day!

I got a phone call today from a friend of mine in NC who wanted to know why my blog has been so boring lately. LOL! After I finished laughing at her, I explained that if she were reading it everyday she would know that it's been boring because I've been boring. It's hard to make lying around doing nothing all day sound exciting. It's boring, but it sure is fun! LOL!

I did something today!

I actually did something today! I cleaned out a closet that REALLY needed to be cleaned out. I threw out some things and have some things bagged up to take to Goodwill. Aren't you proud of me? Now I can open that closet door and not worry that something is going to fall on my head. LOL!

Well, I tried to not be so lazy today, but it didn't work out. I had every intention of giving my house a good summer cleaning, but I really HATE cleaning. So, when I got the chance to go shopping and out to lunch I took it. Can you blame me?!? LOL!

Then when I got home there was a marathon of last season's Army Wives on and I wasn't sure if I had missed an episode or not so I decided I should watch just to be safe. Well, I had seen all of them but better safe then sorry! LOL!

When it comes to cleaning....there's always tomorrow. Oh who am I kidding, I'll make up some other lame excuse not to do it tomorrow. LOL!

If there is an award for the world's laziest person, I think I deserve it this week! My days have consisted of sleeping until I wake up, going out to the pool, working out on the wii fit, taking a shower, playing on the computer, then hitting the couch to rest after my long hard day. LOL! I'm serious! I've only been on summer vacation for a week so I'll probably get even lazier as time goes by.

I can tell you that April hasn't been lazy. She has added a new Birthday Boy Kit to her store at Scrap it Sassy and it is full of goodies! Here's a preview of the kit...

CactusFreek reminded me that I needed to start counting down to the release of New Moon, so I went looking for a widget. I've added one to the bottom of this page. The one I really wanted wasn't playing nice, but I like this one too.

My friend Betty, is the only person I know that hasn't read the Twilight series and we keep telling her that we'll be going to the movies without her in November if she doesn't get busy reading! She says that she feels like she has already read the books because she's heard us talking about them so much. She kind of has a point, but it's not the same!

I do plan on doing a New Moon quote of the day as a countdown to the movie release. So stay tuned for that, November will be here before you know it!
