I didn't do as much dreamin' last night as I would have liked. I stayed up way too late and thanks to another thunder storm I was up way too early. Can you spell naptime? LOL!

I attended a Father's Day cookout today. The 6 year old son of the family that was hosting said a very special and very long blessing for us that ended with, "Mom said we had to be thankful for Dad today, but tomorrow we can go back to being ourselves." I have never laughed so hard!

Today was an extra quiet day for me. I woke up, worked out on the wii fit, played on the computer, took a nap, played on the computer, read, ate some ice cream and now I'm playing on the computer again. We were going to go out for a boat ride but the clouds were moving in and no one wanted to get caught in a storm.

I played around with April's Over the Hill kit even though I couldn't find the pictures I wanted. This is a picture of my friend, Betty, taken right before she realized that we had a surprise luncheon planned for her birthday.

So, after baking those Nestles cookies and eating them for the last two days I find out that they've been recalled. See, this is why I don't cook! This is why I should just stay boring! LOL!

I baked the cookies and I haven't gotten sick yet so I'm sure I'm OK. Even if I do get sick they tasted so good that it was totally worth it! LOL! However, the next time I want cookies.....it's back to the bakery for me! LOL!

The guys went fishing today and came home with lots of goodies so we all got together and had a grilled fish dinner. Orange Croc Guy was in charge of the grill and he's a much better cook than I am! I offered to bring what was left of the cookies I baked but no one was interested. They said that they wouldn't even eat them if the dough hadn't been recalled. LOL! I've got such loving and supportive friends.

I reached a milestone on the wii fit today. My piggy bank turned GOLD! That means I've finally worked out for more than 40 hours. YIPPEE! I was going to celebrate with a cookie, but Nestles ruined that for me. LOL!

To go along with the bad news from Nestles I decided to add a countdown to the first day of school at the bottom this page. YUCK! Why can't I be rich?!?! Why can't summer vacation last forever?!?! LOL!

After all the excitement (Cough, Cough) I had yesterday I had to rest up today. I actually slept until 10:30 and I only got up then because the phone rang. The call was a recorded message from my principal letting us know that our school was given a grade of "A" by the state. YIPPEE! We've been an "A" school in the past, but last year it dropped to a "B". Needless to say, we're all happy today!

Since I slept so late today, I'm wide awake now. So, I'm going to go crawl in bed and read for awhile. Hopefully, I'll fall to sleep soon. Enjoy your day!

I tried not to be boring today, but I'm not sure I succeeded. LOL! It was hard to sleep last night because a bad lightning storm came through and I hate lightning storms. I couldn't really hear the thunder because the storm windows pretty much block the sound, but even with the blinds closed and curtains the room was lighting up from the lightning. I know---I'm a baby!

When I got on the wii fit today I finally changed the Super Hula Hoop from 6 minutes to 10. I hate the super Hula Hoop so that's a big deal. I even earned 4 stars! YEA!

I managed to bake some cookies today without setting off any smoke alarms. OK, so they were the Nestles that you only have to break apart and bake, but I still did it all by myself!

I walked to the post office and mailed a package. Then I came home and rested up from all the exciting things I did today. LOL!

I'll probably still be resting tomorrow too. LOL! Now I'm going to get some sleep. Enjoy your day!
