Maybe the punishments have stopped!

Download wordart here

Today was the first day since I reported the fake celebrity sightings that the universe didn't punishment in some way. I'm hoping that means I've suffered enough bad karma to make up for my sins cause I don't think I could handle much more.

Thursday was the last day of my workshop and while it was enjoyable, I was happy for it to wind down. It was all about motivation ~ What we could do to get the kids and teachers motivated at our individual schools. We have some good ideas and hopefully we'll get them incorporated into our school year.

Personally, I came home happy and motivated and ready to take on the world. And then it happened.....I got online and lost all of my happiness and motivation.

Remember the crazy girl that called me names and insulted my photos because I couldn't give her a ride? Well, she's still stalking my life and has now found the new photography group I joined and guess what---she's now a member too. I just wanted to cry when I saw that cause I had so much fun with the group last weekend and I just can't put myself in a situation where I'll have to deal with her craziness.

The only crazy person allowed in my life is me! Crazy stalker girl is not invited!
The only stalkers I want in my life are my blog readers cause ya'll are far away and don't really know where to find me. Again, crazy stalker girl is not invited!

This is the worst punishment the universe has thrown at me so far. It's all my fault cause I lied to those poor people and I also posted some of my pictures on Facebook. I'm not Facebook friends with crazy stalker girl, but we do have a friend in common so I'm pretty sure that's how she got the info.

Stupid Facebook!

I was going to drop out of the group immediately, but my internet connection messed up and I couldn't get the site to load properly so that I could. I turned my computer off and restarted it only to have the same problem. I went to my neighbors and had the same problem there. Apparently, something was wonky with the internet connection in our whole area yesterday. I gave up and went to bed determined to drop out of the group first thing this morning because I don't want my name associated with hers in any way.

Turns out a good night's sleep was good for me and the wonky internet connection. I got online with no problems this morning, but decided not to drop out of the photography group. It's just a matter of time until she shows them her true crazy stalker self and I can just lay low until that happens then start going to the events again.

I went to the hospital this morning for the sonogram that was supposed to cost me $354, but they didn't say anything about my paying the co-pay. They didn't ask for the money and I didn't offer it. lol!

I got the sonogram done which means there are now some pretty pictures of my spleen, liver and kidneys. Well, actually, I don't know if the pictures are pretty or not because the girl doing the sonogram refused to give up any info. But, it's my organs so how could they be anything but pretty. Right?

I'm heading to bed now. I'm spending Saturday in the everglades taking photos. Wish me luck!

Since it's going to be awhile until I get to hang with the Miami Beach Photography Club again I thought I'd share some of my photos from the infamously fake paparazzi night...

And the punishments continue.....

Download wordart here

You guys, I may seriously be in some real trouble here! Apparently, the universe is still angry about my phony celebrity sightings the other night cause I'm still being punished and I'm starting to get scared. It was bad enough when I was double teamed by the universe and my insurance company, but it got downright spooky when the universe teamed up with the ghost that is fascinated with my bathroom.

Remember the ghost that flushed the toilet while I was in the shower and then left without cooking me breakfast? Well, it's back! At least it was back last night at around 10:30 PM. Guess what it was doing? FLUSHING the toilet repeatedly. I'm not kidding! I stood in the bathroom and watched and listened as the toilet flushed itself over and over. I was freaking out!

My first thought was, "OMG! I have to call somebody!"
My second thought was, "OMG! I can't call anyone cause my bathroom is too messy!"
My third thought was, "OMG! I'm getting out of here!"

So, I get out of my pajamas and back into real clothes, put on some flip flops, empty the bathroom trashcan, pick up the dirty clothes that I never should have left lying in the floor and take off in search of help. At this point, the toilet has probably been flushing itself repeatedly for close to five minutes.

I get my neighbor and try to explain to him what is going on in my bathroom and he thinks I'm crazy. He thought I had water that was just running into the toilet and said that it could wait until the next day. I frantically tried again to explain that it wasn't just a little water. The stupid thing flushed itself then filled back up with water and flushed itself again over and over. I said it was like someone was there pushing the handle to flush the toilet over and over but that there was NO ONE there!

He reluctantly came back with me to check things out. Guess what happened when we walked into bathroom? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The toilet was no longer flushing itself. It was just sitting there acting all innocent and my neighbor gave me a mean look.

I swore that it really had been going crazy and flushing itself. He walked over and flushed it and waited for it to fill back up. After it did that he flushed it again and again he waited while it filled back up. Both times the toilet did exactly what it was supposed to do. My neighbor looked at me and said, "It seems to be working just fine now."

My neighbor went back home and I stuck my tongue out at the toilet. Then I walked out and closed the bathroom door so the toilet would be all alone. I also closed the door because I was still scared and didn't want to see what the toilet did next.

Today was day two of the three day workshop I'm attending and we were in class working hard when we discovered that the state had released school grades and everything came to a sudden stop. We all cheered and teared up a little when one of the principals in the room discovered that her school had gone from and "F" to a "B" and was so overcome with excitement and pride that she started crying.

Our instructor pulled up the DOE website and showed it on the screen while she searched for other school grades. I asked her to please check my school and was almost speechless when she said that we were an "A". You see we weren't expecting to get an "A". We had all worked as hard as we could and so had the kids, but we thought we were looking at something closer to a "C". The three other teachers from my school and myself looked up at the screen and saw our school name with the big beautiful "A" beside it and went crazy!

We pulled out our phones and started calling people! I called the school office and put the phone on intercom so we could all talk and hear what they said. We were so happy.....and then we weren't!

Another teacher came over to me and said, "You guys didn't get an A, you got a C. We all practically bit her head off and pointed to the screen to show her the big beautiful "A" that was there. She pointed out the county name at the top and it wasn't Dade County.

The instructor had pulled up the school scores for the wrong county!

So, somewhere in the state of Florida there is another Greynolds Park Elementary and that school stole our "A"!

I get the universe being angry with me cause of the fake celebrity sightings, but why did it have to punish the other teachers I was with today? They didn't do anything wrong!

I'm trying to remember how many people I lied to other night so that I can figure out how much longer I'm going to be punished and, well, I think I'm in big trouble! This may go on for awhile!

What happened was....

Download wordart here

OK, ok, I know I'm the bad blogger who told you that she was gong out to watch the Fourth of July fireworks and then disappeared for a week. But what happened was....absolutely nothing. lol!

I have never been so busy and yet so bored at the same time. There just hasn't been much to talk about.

I didn't get any photos of the fireworks, but as usual they were awesome! I love that I get to see so many different sets each year. All I have to do is go outside and I have perfect seating to watch fireworks from Fischer Island, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Downtown Miami and three or four other smaller sets. Life is good!

I joined the Miami Beach photography group and Sunday night we were out photographing the lights of Ocean Drive. There were about 20 of us and people thought we were paparazzi. Seriously! I can't tell you how many people walked up, stopped their cars or slowed down their scooters to ask what famous person we were waiting to photograph. lol!

Well, after awhile of having people ask this question I decided to have some fun. I thought it would be funny to answer with a different celebrity's name everytime someone asked me which famous person we were waiting on.

And...it was funny until I reached the point where I just couldn't think of any more celebrity names. When you start throwing out names like Scott Baio and Don Johnson it's time to end the joke! Plus, I felt bad for the group of girls that were sitting on the grass waiting for Justin Bieber to leave a restaurant and the for the boys who had their faces plastered against the window of a jewelry store looking for Katie Holmes.

I confessed to the girls that I was playing a joke on them and they laughed. Thank goodness! Turns out they had been calling their friends to brag about how they were going to see Justin
Bieber and their friends had laughed at them saying it just couldn't be true. They felt like they had been punked and said that at least they have a funny story to tell everyone.

I never confessed to the boys cause they had already given up and moved on.

I know we had all thought and hoped that I had learned my lesson about lying back when I had the flat tires and told the people from Triple A that I didn't know if I was in a safe neighborhood or not when I was really just a couple of blocks from where I work. Well, apparently I haven't learned that lesson yet (or maybe I did and just forgot!) so I spent most of today being punished by the universe.

I have to have something done at the hospital on Friday and they called me this morning to remind me of my appointment and here's how that conversation went...

Dude from hospital: Good morning, I'm calling to confirm your appointment for July 13.

Me: Thank you. I'll see you then.

Dude from hospital: You'll need to sign in at the welcome center.

Me: OK, thank you.

Dude from hospital: You also have a co-pay of three fifty four.

ME: What! Dollars?

Dude from hospital: Yes, $354

Universe, I am very VERY sorry for what I did, but is it really neccessary for you to team up with the insurance company against me? Couldn't you pay me back in some less expensive way?

Later in the day, I walked to the post office to mail a package and of course I had to wait in line once I got there. I noticed a guy---a really cute guy---who was off to the side getting his stuff filled out and ready to mail. I passed the time staring...um, I mean gazing at him. Once he had his stuff ready to go he came over to join the line and walked right past the two people who were behind me, asked me to excuse him and parked himself right in front of me.

Apparently, he (and the universe) decided that even though he hadn't been in line he belonged in front of me simply because he had entered the building before me and the two people who were behind me. I knew right away that this was another punishment but thought the joke was on the universe cause this was a tall good looking guy with a nice backside. I didn't mind standing behind him one little bit! lol!

I didn't mind standing behind him until it was his turn to get waited on and he was taking forever. Then two police officers entered and walked up to the counter asking, "Did you guys call us?" That took the other lady who was working away from the counter and left the one lady who was waiting on the tall good looking nice backsided guy who was taking way too long.

OK, universe, you got me again!

I'm spending the next three days in a workshop for school and something tells me that it's going to provide the universe with plenty of chances to punish me even further. I better get some sleep now so that I'll be ready to face it.

Wish me luck!
