We're working hard to plan our end of the year party for the kids and their parents. I'm hooked on the Luau theme. After school today one of the girls was going to the dollar store to pick things up for us and I was going to Party City. Well, I got in the car and it automatically drove me straight home. LOL! Really! It's not my fault!

I waited until most of the rush hour traffic had died down and went back out. Party City is getting ready for summer and they were putting out lots of cute luau themed items. I spent too much money and if you add that to the Oriental Trading order I made last week I've spent way too much money. LOL! Sadly, I'm sure more will be spent before it's all over. And to think, Dade County thought we didn't need our raises...

I can't believe I have to go back to work again tomorrow. Why do the weekends fly by so quickly? Is June ever going to get here?

I know that I've told you about my lack of cooking skills before, but today I decided to turn the stove on and cook something. I wanted an omelet and decided to cook it myself. Now, in the past when I've tried to make one, it ends up looking more like scrambled eggs with stuff in it. It's not very pretty but it's usually edible. LOL! I got it cooked and on the plate without too much trouble. I decided to put some salt on it and realized that my normal salt shaker needed to be refilled. So, I grabbed one of the store bought prefilled shakers I had left over from a cookout. It wasn't until my plate was covered in PEPPER that I realized I had grabbed the wrong shaker AND opened the pour side of the lid instead of the shaker side.

Now here's the best and most embarrassing part of the story.....I had to make a special trip to the store just to buy the stuff to make the omelet. LOL!

...And that's why I get food delivered!

There's a new report out that says Miami is the third most violent city in the US. I guess sometimes it is good not to be in first place. LOL! But you know what? I think this place is heaven and can't think of any place else that I would want to live! I love Miami!

I can't believe that I forgot to tell you about the new kit that Shel Belle Scraps is going to start releasing today! It's a super kit that I'm using to make things for a friends birthday, so I'll show those goodies to you when I can. Right now I can't risk ruining the surprise. LOL! Anyway, here's a preview of the kit for you to see...



Trust me, this preview doesn't do the kit justice. There are so many wonderful elements. Is there a Guitar Hero in your house? Do you know an aspiring rock star? Anyone into karaoke? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you really need to pick this kit up.

Here's a layout I made using one of my London pictures from Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. I'm not sure who the girl is that's in the picture with Freddie Mercury. There were so many people trying to get there to get a picture with/of him that I gave up and just took one. LOL!

I'm not sure what's been wrong with Mediafire for the last couple of days, but it seems to be working OK now. Let's hope it stays that way!

Today was beautiful. A little windy, but still beautiful! There's a brush fire burning in the south west part of Dade County that is threatening some houses. There's been a fire burning in Collier County for several days now that has caused them to close Alligator Alley because of the smoke. I'm lucky not to live anywhere near these fires, but I sure do feel sorry for anyone who does. The winds we've been having haven't helped the situations.

We've got lots of rip currents and people are being told to stay out of the water. Guess that's what swimming pools are for. LOL! I hope the wind dies down soon, but they're saying that tomorrow will be just as windy.

I got to spend more time with What IF Guy before he flew out this afternoon and that was fun. We went to several tourist spots. I like going to these places so I'm always happy when people visit me and I have an excuse to go. LOL!

What a day I've had!

Here's the Good - It's Friday, It's payday, I spent time with my "what if" guy

Here's the Bad - My "what if" guy met my friends and they showed no mercy. LOL! They told every I have - or should I say had. LOL! It was very interesting and a little scary to watch Orange Croc Guy and What If Guy make small talk over drinks.

Here's the Ugly - I work with someone that is just out of control. She is letting her personal issues get in the way of doing her job and so many other people are suffering because of it. How do you tell someone that they need to seek help?

I get to spend some more time with What IF Guy tomorrow before he flies out in the late afternoon so I guess he wasn't too frighted by my friends and their stories.

As far as the lady at work goes, it's the weekend so we'll all be spared her drama until Monday. Hopefully, she'll get her family issues under control and stop taking it out on other people.

I need to get some sleep now. Enjoy your day!
