I'm on Christmas Vacation!

You wouldn't believe the amount of rain we've had the past two days! On Thursday night there was even a mall that had employees spend the night because there was so much flooding they couldn't get out. Now, while I have always thought being stuck in a mall over night would be a wonderful thing, I doubt those people had too much fun.

The neighborhood my school is in had over 11 inches of rain on thursday and then there was another 4 inches today. YUCK! There are flooded streets and homes everywhere.

I just hope I can get to the airport in the morning! I'm on vacation and ready to leave on a jet plane! LOL!

All I have to do is get through today and then I'm on Christmas vacation! YIPPEE! I'm not sure how much I'll be around for the next week or so, so I've preposted some goodies for you. Hope you find something you can use.

The puppet show this morning was awesome! Here's how overworked I am right now. I took the camera because they will usually pose for a quick picture or two with the kids. I was all set to take some great shots to share with you. That's when I realized that I didn't have the memory disk in the camera and the internal memory was full with pictures that I couldn't delete because they are from my friends Christmas party and I need to scrap them as a present for her family. So, I have no pictures on my camera to share. BUMMER! The show was great though and we had lots of fun!

I am now one day closer to vacation! YIPPEE! Keep an eye on April's blog because she is going to be posting some adorable candy bar wrappers that she made with her Christmas kit and you will love them!

Tomorrow at school we're having a puppet show performance of The Grinch. This will be the third year these ladies have visited us to put on this show and I am so excited about it. I'm kind of feeling like The Grinch now so maybe watching the puppet show will help put me in the mood for Christmas.
