Today I busted out the old Mr. Rick character education music CD. If you know know who he is, let me tell you that he is kind of geek-tabulous. I mean as adults we get how lame the songs are, but the kids think they're actually listening to rock music. Well, except for that one song where he sorta, kinda raps. lol!
Anyway, after listening to a couple of the songs, one of them got stuck in my head. STUCK in my head and I spent the rest of the day walking around singing it OUT LOUD. At times I didn't even realize that I was singing.
In the afternoon, my class was taking a math test and after reading the question then waiting for everyone to mark their answers I stood there singing THAT song. My class quickly AND loudly moaned collectively and started demanding that I stop singing.
My response...
"HEY! We are in the middle of a test and you aren't supposed to be talking, so you'll just have to be quiet and listen to me sing!"
