After working for four whole days I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that it's Friday.

When I leave school tomorrow I'm meeting up with my friends, who are already claiming that I've ignored them since going back to work, for an early happy hour and dinner.  Then, I'll probably spend the rest of the weekend in pajamas.

Doesn't that sound wonderful?

Ok, I've only been back at school for two days so how can I be this tired already? I'm really going to be a mess when the kids show up on Monday.  Lol!

Ok, two days in my class and the room looks like it's almost finished.  Just don't open any cabinet doors. Lol!

Right now it looks like I have 19 kids in my class, but I hope that changes since the limit is 18 .

I have to go to bed now cause getting up when the alarm clock goes off and then working all day has worn me out.

The last Saturday...

Today was the last Saturday before another school year starts and other than having lunch with friends and running some errands I spent most of the day sneezing.  Summer colds are the worst!

There were no teacher sacrifices to the testing Gods this morning.  But, there was a wonderfully inspiring back to school speech given by our Superintendent, Alberto Carvalho.

Totally worth getting for.  Lol!

Afterwards, I was even thinking about about going to school for a couple of hours, but decided to meet some friends for lunch instead.  Lol!  The speech was inspiring, but it's my last Friday off for awhile so I don't think anyone can blame me.
