Happy April!

OK, so today was just a normal day until my friend Betty came to lunch. She pulled her phone out to make a quick call and realized that her battery was very low. She got up to use the office phone and her cell phone rang. She ran back to answer it but of course she lost the call because the battery was now completely dead.

She sat through lunch and worried about her phone. She very seriously said, "I just realized that you really do have to charge your phone in order for it to work." Well, being the great friends we are, we laughed at her. LOL! We had to ask just how often she charged her phone and her answer was, "When I think about it." LOL!

You just gotta love Betty!

Sorry for the short post, but it's bedtime for me. Enjoy your day!

  1. Dolores went into Roweena's office and started telling her that she got this mail about answering your cell phone while it's recharging and how it can electrocute you. She had to stop to answer the phone so I looked it up on Snopes and told her otherwise. I'm not sure she believed me. This is why I'm happy my mom doesn't have a computer. She's be paranoid about EVERYTHING.

  3. LOL! Did you see this:

One day driving around Los Angeles, George Clooney spotted in the trash a hideous painting of a naked woman. He took it home and started plotting his evil plan. George began telling his friends, including longtime pal Richard Kind ("Spin City" and "Mad About You"), that he had developed a newfound love of art, that he was taking painting classes, and that he thought he was quite gifted. George dragged Richard to galleries and craft shows to ensnare his victim deeper into his web. Then one day he showed up at Kind's home with, you guessed it, the dumpster art. He had signed the painting and said he was so proud of it he wanted to give it to his friend. A horrified Kind felt he had no choice but to display the art in his home. Clooney let it hang for a few weeks before confessing his prank.
