Well, it looks like my school year may end a little early. We're still fighting with the school board over pay. We didn't get our raises and they're planning on taking at least two day's pay from us.
Right now the plan is to have us work two half days and to take away the one teacher workday we get to close out the year. I have no problem with starting vacation early, but I just hate to lose even more money. They promise they'll pay us back in the fall but I'm not going to hold my breath. LOL!
If they are actually going to do this they need to make some plans soon. The parents will have to make arrangements for their kids on the days they only plan on having the teachers until 11:30.

I didn't get a raise either and some people are getting laid off or getting their hours cut. He won't get rid of me - I'm cheap - but some of my co-workers are really unhappy. And you can't really complain because well...you should be happy you have a job (period) right now.
