I've been pretty busy the last couple of days and haven't gotten the chance to play with the kit yet, but I am really looking forward to the weekend so I can! April has already got an awesome QP for you on her blog, so make sure you go pick it up.
I ordered a new printer and it arrived today. It was really funny because I have a new FedEx delivery guy and he couldn't find me. LOL! The phone rang and it was him saying he thought they had my address wrong so he told me what he had and I confirmed that it was correct. Fifteen minutes later he still hadn't arrived with my printer so I walked out in the hallway---no sign of him. I walked down into the lobby---no sign of him. I checked the three other hallways that people get lost in when trying to find me---no sign of him. I asked the ladies working in the mail room if they had seen him and they hadn't, but assured me they would point him in the correct direction when he showed up.
I got busy doing stuff and the next thing I knew an hour had gone by and there was still no sign of the FedEx guy. I looked online and saw that he had put into the computer that I wasn't home to sign for my package. I got the guys number off of the caller ID and called him to see what had happened. He said that he was in the mailroom leaving my package there because something was wrong with the elevator and it wouldn't let them get off on my floor. LOL! You don't have to take the elevator to get to my floor. There are two different sets of five stairs off the main lobby that will bring to to my hallway. LOL! I just had to laugh at the guy!
I got my printer from the ladies in the mailroom so all is well!
Tomorrow is my first official day at school. My room is almost done so I should be more than ready for the kids on Monday. I'm going to bed now. Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteSchool starts TOMORROW!!! Holy cow.....we don't start until after Labor Day....in fact the state legislature just re-upped the law that covers that.....yeah, we have a law. It used to be for the farmers and now it's for them and the State Fair workers. Go figure. Have fun at school. I'll be thinking about you........'kay, maybe not. smooooooch!

ReplyDeleteI still can't see any of your previews. I see Lori's and Nitas and Your wordart preview but nothing else. Lori says she can't see it either. Wondering if something's set wrong. So I have to guess at your quick-pages - so sending them in emails helps alot. Hope school tomorrow goes well for you. Take care Ginger and thanks for everything.
