Next Saturday we're going to Wings Over Miami to take pictures and someone asked me today if I would give them a ride. Well, because of my schedule and other plans I'm not able to give the ride and apparently that makes me the most evil person in the world.
Seriously, I have spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out what I'm missing. How and why does someone get angry over something like that? I mean, while I'm more than willing to help if I can it's not my responsibility and I already have other plans.
Would you seriously expect someone to leave where they are drive 30 to 45 minutes to pick you up and then drive back to the general area they were in to begin with? I was going to offer the person a ride home if they could get there on their own, but I never had time to do that cause she was already sending me nasty text messages and saying that my photos suck.
Yep, that was the big insult of the day---my photos suck. lol!
Tell me, who is the crazy person?
That is what I'd call a fair weather friend and wouldn't let what she says faze me in the least. Forget her and don't let her get under your skin, that's what she wants. As I grow older {76 now} I just say Screw you to people like her!!!!
ReplyDeleteFair-weather friend is a perfect description. Also, perhaps a bit jealous that she would take it out on your photos when she doesn't get her own way. Sad, you're better off without her.
ReplyDeleteLove your work, Love your generosity.
Dear Miss Evil. LOL. No, seriously. Self-entitlement, that's what it is. Some people are like that. Unfortunately, a lot of people are like that. But hey, I'm guessing that this is just someone in your photography class and not an actual friend, so no big loss. Have fun on your field trip!!
ReplyDeleteMy years of wisdom?? tells me that she had to say something nasty to you to make herself feel better about asking you. I have learned to walk away and put at great distance these kind of people. Life is too short to bother with them. Love your photos. This class does make you look at things so much differently, doesn't it?
