Thank you, Isaac!

Download wordart here

Well, my Friday night plans were pretty much rained out. I did manage to get a couple photos on Lincoln Road before giving up and walking home ~ in the rain.

I slept until 9:30 Saturday morning only to wake up and find that I had no water or air conditioning. There was a stupid main water line break that left most of south beach with no water.

Yes, this was the second time in the last couple of months that I've spent with no water. Trust me, after sleeping for nine and a half hours I had some serious bed head going on!

I went to the grocery store and it was an absolute mad house! I believe all of Miami Beach was there to stock up on water in case ours wasn't turned on before Isaac visited the area.

We got our water back around 3 in the afternoon and we are once again under a boil water notice for the next couple of days.

The best part of my day came when it was announced that there will be no school on Monday. I know Isaac is going to bring more rain and nasty weather, but that's ok cause I've got plenty of junk food and a DVR full of unwatched shows.

I've got Monday off!!!!!

  1. Ah sending hugs - and hoping the weather manages to pass you over ... (I'm a born optimist.. lol)

This sentiment is so perfect for my youngest girl... (she's four)...

    Wishing you a happy Sunday.

  2. Hehe! Great wordart! Thanks!

  3. Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in CBH Digital Scrapbooking Freebies (please, notice the new url for my blog), under the Page 3 post on Aug. 26, 2012. Thanks again.

  4. I do burst out in song sometimes xD So thank you for the fitting sentiment!

  5. Hope all Isaac brings is some stormy weather and no serious stuff. Glad you got some pics in b4 the rain. I personally, love walking in the rain. Glad you got your power back pdq. It's so awful to not have it. Reading your blog for a while now, it sounds like to you, going to school to teach, is like it was for me yrs ago when I went to the gym to work out five days a week. Horses had to drag me there but once I was there I so loved the ride! :)

  6. Hope you enjoy your day off. Gabby has put that so well - we know you do love it once you get there. Hope Isaac treats you okay (or misses you altogether).

  7. It sounds good, but I really don't think anyone wants to hear me sing. Not even our cat!!! Thank you!!!!
