I told you that I didn't want it to be Monday!

UGH! What a weird day I had!  Thank goodness it's over.

For some reason I couldn't sleep Sunday night so I got up really early and watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead that I had recorded.  It was awesome!

After watching The Walking Dead, I still had about 30 minutes before the alarm went off so I headed back to bed.  I got in a quick nap with a really weird dream that I don't really remember very well.  That's probably for the best!

As I was leaving for work I heard a strange sound outside.  It sounded like someone walking while dragging some sort of heavy metal.  Of course, after spending a weekend that was about all things zombie, I decided that there must be a zombie after me.  I mean what else could it have been?

I decided to forgo the stairs and headed for the elevator.  Once I got up to the third level of the parking garage I thought I would be safe, but I heard the sound again and it still sounded like it was coming from behind me.  I walked to my car very quickly thinking, "OMG!  the zombie followed me in the other elevator!"

Luckily, I made it into my car and got the doors locked before the zombie caught me.  I never did see the sneaky thing, but I know it was there!

I made it to school, but my class was worried about me because for some reason I kept calling on Jose and waiting for him to answer.  I don't have a Jose in my class and I can't remember the last time did.

We were working on the sound for the letter Pp today.  I was trying to get my class to tell me the word I was thinking of and the only rule was that the word had to start with the letter P.  They had a hard time coming up with the word piano, but as soon as I said, "On my birthday, I will invite my friends to my _____."  They all shouted out "party" pretty fast.  As a matter of fact, one of the boys even said, "Party at Ms. Brown's house!"  I am not kidding!  He said that and I decided it was time to end that game.

I came home and wanted nothing more than to go to sleep, but I had a message from the doctor's office.  I hope they were calling to let me know the date of my next procedure, but I didn't return the call.  I was just too tired.  Besides, it's probably better for everyone if I make that call on a day that I've had more sleep, haven't been chased by a mystery zombie and aren't worried that a bunch of five years olds are going to show up at my house for a party.

I let my neighbors con me into going out for an early dinner and a couple of drinks even though I really didn't want to go.  It was going to be the two of them and a friend of theirs that has been hanging around for the last month or so and me.

Now, I don't usually change the names to protect the innocent and that's mostly because no one I know is actually innocent.  But this time, I need to change this guys name and I figure I may as well call him Jose since that name has been stuck on my brain all day.

Anyway, we went to dinner close by and sat around talking and laughing after we had eaten.  Suddenly, Jose announces that he's tired of waiting for the waitress to come back and heads to the bar to pick up another round and my neighbor says she needs the restroom and walks away just as quickly as Jose.

This left me alone at the table with my neighbor's husband and I knew right away that  this was more than just a dinner.....they were trying to fix me up with Jose!  I don't want to be fixed up with Jose!

Here's how that conversation went....

Neighbor:  You know that Orange Croc Guy is my friend and if I felt like the two of you were ever going to be a real couple I wouldn't even ask this question, but what do you think of Jose?

Me:  I think that he's your friend so it's what you think that matters, but he is nice.

Neighbor:  If he asked would you go out with him?

Me:  Honestly, I didn't think he liked girls.

Neighbor:  OMG!  Quit being stupid!  He likes girls.

Me: Well, then please don't ever tell him that I thought he didn't cause that would just hurt his feelings.

Neighbor:  Will you go out with him?

Me:  No, I don't think that would be a good idea.

Neighbor:  Why?  Is it because of OCG?

Me: No, it has nothing to do with him.  It's me.  I mean...just look at me.

Neighbor:  There is nothing wrong with the way you look.

Me:  Dude, I know that!  I look good and that's the problem!  Jose will fall in love with me and I'll just break his heart and then it will be really weird every time we're all together.

Neighbor:  You're hopeless.

Me:  I know.  That's what makes me so lovable.

Strangely enough, Jose and my neighbor returned to the table at the same time.  It was a little awkward at first, but the round of drinks that Jose bought helped.

Now, here it is almost midnight and I'm still awake and I'm not sure if anything I've told you about my day makes sense.  It's OK if it doesn't though, cause I lived through it and I'm not sure I understand any of it either.  lol!

***I know you guys are all Team OCG, so don't worry he's still in the picture.  We (and yes, I mean me.) are just trying to figure some things out right now.***
