Usually I'm ready for Friday so I can rest up from the week, but now I just want it to get here for the New Moon release. After telling the high school girls that they couldn't sit anywhere near us they started giving me a hard time. They're saying that they're going to stand up before the movie starts and shout out my name. I told them that if they get hit in the back of the head with a bag of popcorn after the movie starts----it wasn't me! LOL!

I wanted to show you another layout I made with the Gratitude collab kit by Deanna and Kathy. I used papers and elements from Kathy's part of the kit for this layout. Make sure you check out both of their blogs for the free goodies and come back here tomorrow to pick up the quickpage I made.



Have you sent April your recipe card yet? I can't wait to see all the cards that have gotten sent in. We all know I don't cook, but I will give the cards to some friends that do for Christmas presents. Hopefully, they'll let me be the taste tester. LOL!

It's All About New Moon

I am so excited about New Moon on Friday and I know I'm not the only one. LOL! Today I had three high school volunteers in my class working and they were all talking about going. One of the girls doesn't have her ticket yet and was worried that she wouldn't get in. I let her know that I'm probably going to have an extra one and if she can have the ticket if she needs it. Then I told her that she would have to promise to sit far, far away from my friends and I because we're really "cool" and just can't have her ruining our reputation. Those poor girls are probably still laughing. LOL!

I had some time to play with the Love Story Kit by Carol's Digiscrap Creations again and I love the layout I made. It's sweet and simple. Right now, I'm on a sweet and simple kick.

Hard Rain's Gonna Fall

Today there is a beautiful kit going into Scraps of Ellay's store at Stuff to Scrap. It's called Hard Rain's Gonna Fall and it is already one of my favorite kits! Take a look at this preview...



I made several layouts with the kit and wanted to share them with you. This first layout was made for one of the daily challenges at Stuff to Scrap that have been going on all month. You should check them out! They are so much fun and it will help you catch up on your layouts. This challenge required that we leave lots of "white space". I love "white space" so I thought it would be quick and simple, but of course I overthought the whole thing and couldn't decide which paper to use. I finally decided that this beautiful purple paper made the black and white photos stand out the most.



The background paper I used on this layout is one of my favorites in the kit! Of course I could say that about all of the papers in the kit. LOL!



I've saved my favorite layout for last. Ellay told me that she made this background paper from a picture she took of the trees in her yard. They were having some bad storms and while everyone else was inside hiding from possible tornados, she was in the yard taking pictures. LOL!



I started to put "The wonders of nature" in the top corner of this layout, but decided not to. However, I thought you might like that saying for some of the layouts you'll make with this beautiful kit so I'm giving you that wordart.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes! You guys made my day. I just wish I had been able to extend my long weekend one more day. After the drive back home today I had to unpack and do laundry. YUCK!
