I was expecting a fed ex delivery today and the tracking thingy said it would be here by 10:30 AM. That means I had to get up and get dressed this morning. I also showered, but that was mostly because I couldn't remember if I had showered yesterday.

Don't judge me! I'm on vacation! I don't have to shower!

Anyway, since I was up, showered and dressed I decided to do something other than watch TV and nap all day. I went out to lunch then I came home and napped and watched TV. LOL!

Tomorrow morning OCG and I are headed up to Jacksonville, Florida for a couple of days. I'll be back Sunday so you guys have to stay out of trouble until then. If you don't stay out of trouble, save the stories cause I want to hear them. LOL!

Ok, you know you have been lying around watching way too much television when you want to scream everytime a KFC commercial comes on. Seriously, I don't know what it is about this guy they have playing Colonel Sanders but he bugs me. I mean, he really bugs me!

I survived!

OK, guys, I survived the longest and toughest school year of my entire career.

Just to give you an idea of how bad it really was I have to share with you what my principal said on the morning announcements a couple of weeks ago. This man went on the morning announcements for everyone to see and hear and told the kids that they do not come to school to have fun. The one and only reason they come to school is to learn. He then told them that if they were having fun they needed to stop and ask themselves what they were doing wrong.

Seriously folks, I can't make this stuff up!

My heart broke!

I have spent the last four days decompressing. I've slept, watched TV, slept some more, grabbed a snack, watched more TV and gone back to bed. That has been my routine (or lack or a routine) and it has been wonderful.
