So, I found out today that I'm getting a new student on Monday.  It was recommended to me that I call the teacher from the old school.  So I did.....

I get the teacher on the phone, introduce myself, let her know that I'll be getting the student from her class and ask how she's doing.

She very excitedly said, "I'm great," before cracking up laughing. 

Everyone who has ever worked at a school knows that it is bad news for the new teacher when the old teacher is that happy! 

I just need to win the lottery....

I should have checked in earlier to let you guys know that we made it back from our girl's weekend.  I was busy doing laundry and watching things that recorded on the DVR while I was gone.  LOL!

We had lots of fun, but didn't get to do the things we wanted to do the most because of the rain.  There was a state of emergency declared in North Carolina and so the Autumn at Oz event was cancelled and so was the Ghost Train at Tweetsie Railroad.  So......

We shopped, we ate, we drank, we slept in and ran out between torrential rain storms and tried to see some of the fall leaves.  

You know, you can't let the weather get you down when you're on vacation, because no matter how bad it is.....you're still on vacation! LOL!

So, it's day four of trying to tell you what font I used on the word art and I've already failed.  LOL!

I warned you guys that I probably wouldn't be any good at this.  Actually, I'm pretty impressed that I remembered for three days in a row.
